"In my nearly eight years of practicing yoga, I've never experienced a more memorable session
than the one Karen led in the Belizean jungle. With the late afternoon sun burnishing the
emerald jungle with a golden cast and flocks of parrots and other tropical birds chattering,
I enjoyed a sublime yoga session. Karen's cadence, pace and manner blended perfectly with the
inspiring setting, allowing me to experience a satisfying yoga session while soaking up the
setting. I intend to carry with me the memory of that session and that place as I practice yoga
in the indoor studios in Chicago"

"A truely uplifting experience. The class was intimate and relaxed and Karen really takes
care of beginners. For me, the unique setting on top of an elevated platform surrounded
by stunning exotic scenery and nature made my soul fly and left me truely refreshed to start
another day in paradise."

We walked through the pasture of horses to meet Karen, grab a cup of outstanding fresh brewed
organic coffee to sip as we walked the 1/2 mile to the "tower", a observatory overlooking a now-dry
watering hole. We had to nudge our way through a tribe of quarter/thoroughbred horses, all
hoping for a handout, as we made our way though the morning dewed grass, listening to the squawking
of collared aracari (small toucans), the hideous scream/snarl/howl of the Yucatan black howler monkeys
awakening, the knocking of the pale-billed woodpecker.
That was the silence. That was the place. That was the time. The light was golden, the air still,
the temperature in late January chilly, the humor good, the instruction superb. Namaste, Karen, for
one of the finest of my Belizian experiences
